A brief history

The League of Women Voters of Cape May County has actively participated in voter awareness for decades. Their programs such as "Running and Winning" and various educational events have spread voter awareness for all ages. The years of dedication from our members have provided the building blocks for us to achieve new goals and gain new members.

Where we are today

Providing advocacy for current issues and supporting our local community will always be The League's mission. COVID-19 brought unimaginable challenges to the world, and the focus on virtual outreach has been imperative for our survival. We were pleased to have our first hybrid debate in October 2020. Spectators could come and sit inside beautiful Congress Hall as they socially distanced to support their candidate. Others at home were able to watch and be informed about their local candidate's viewpoints. In addition, we were able to start our YouTube channel, where you can now go back and view the debate.

Our membership forms are now online, and we are setting up online payment through PayPal, Venmo, and square. Our virtual office is set up and organized so we can share our progress and information more!
